Maurice Mack

I’m an actor, writer and producer from Detroit, now based in Los Angeles. In May 2018 I founded Clear Lens Cinema, a small production company built on the belief that creators should work without limits, and that every dimension of a story deserves room to breathe.

It all starts on camera for me. I’m drawn to character, relationships, identity and the quiet moments of human connection that make people recognize themselves in a story. Whether I’m performing, writing or producing, that’s the lens I work through.

That same interest in people, how they feel, what they want, how they move through the world, is also why I founded Arrivé, a venture creating a different travel experience. Acting explores it through performance, writing through story, and Arrivé through travel.

Since arriving in Los Angeles I’ve kept sharpening the craft, training with Margie Haber Acting Studio, The Groundlings, Lisa Robertson Acting Studio and Second City Chicago, while developing original film and series work under Clear Lens Cinema.

Before and alongside the creative work, I spent years in rooms full of people: national auto shows, live events and venues, hospitality and service. That time taught me how audiences think, feel and respond, and it shapes every character and story I build.
